Do some review on how things float using the provided website or other source

• Start by having kids put trinkets (marbles or pennies) directly into water to see how they sink without some type of support
• Provide space and tin foil and start kids on creating different designs of floatation devices.  Try different shapes, different thicknesses of base, different quantity of foil…
• After the kids have created a design, try it in the water to see if it floats on its own and then start adding weight (marbles or pennies) and determine which form supports the most weight.
• Allow redesigns to try again to get more weight on the boat.
• Try loading the boats differently to see if they still float (IE put all the weight on one side to see if it capsizes)
