• Pick/Rotate someone to be the caller. Everyone else spread out so there is some room to move around.
• Caller yells out a command and everyone else has to do the required action for that command.
• If you do the wrong action for the command, you are out. If you move after “Captain’s Coming” before being told “At Ease” you are out.  If you end up without a partner when needed, you are out.
• Last one standing wins.

Commands

• Ships – run to the left
• Sailors – run to the right
• Captain’s Coming – standing still, hand saluting, you cannot move or do any other command until the caller says “At Ease.
• Hit the deck – drop to the floor
• Seasick – run to the back and pretend to throw up
• Person Overboard – get a partner. One lies on ground, second holds one hand up to the ceiling the other hand holds the person on the ground’s hand.
• Rowing – get two others. Sit in a line and pretend to row
• Bunk Bed – Get a partner. One lies on  ground the other grabs their ankles and the one on the floor grabs the top persons ankles so one is over the other each at arms length holding the others ankles
• Mermaid – lie on your side, elbow on the floor hand on your head. Wave your legs back and forth.
• Whale – Lie on your stomach and roll back and forth. Whale noise optional
