Badges
Achievement badges are used by many chapters, but are not required to participate or advance. Many chapters use badges as a focus for meetings or gatherings and many kids like the concrete accomplishment and reward badges provide.
Navigator badges are divided into the four Compass Points designated by the color of the border stitching (Mind/blue, Body/red, Planet/green, Freedom/white).
Each subject has three levels, designated by the background color (Stargazer/light green, Junior/dark green, Senior/blue) There are also mastery badges and badges for safety skills such as knife skills, bravery, etc.
